MUSIC

Music has been a long-time hobby of mine that has taken a back seat in my life as of late, but still feels important to share. I studied classical piano starting at age four and into my twenties, and studied jazz and contemporary vocal performance for my undergrad. I have three years of experience as a studio and live sound engineer, was the music director of a vocal group all four years of my undergrad, and was a 5th grade girls choir teacher for a semester for the OrchKids program in inner city Baltimore. While I do miss the thrill of performing in concert halls and stages, arranging music, recording/mixing artists, and playing in bands and vocal ensembles, nowadays, I’ll scratch that itch by performing at open mics around Minneapolis every now and then.
